I’m OK
This exhibition is about the year Ukrainians lived through starting from February 24, 2022. This was the year when a question, “How are you?” gained a much deeper meaning. The same happened to the answer, “We’re fine, holding on.”
The presented works are a brief summary of the projects they made during 2022, starting with the first days of the invasion and ending with their final work – the “Blackout” comic book. Of course, it tells the stories of Ukrainians who are forced to live through electricity cut-offs that may continue to take place because of the enemy’s missile attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Seri/Graph studio
A duo consisting of Zhenia Polosina and Ania Ivanenko. They’ve been working together since 2015, creating prints, zines, illustrations, and books. Since the beginning of Russia’s war against Ukraine, the creators have been making an effort to document everything they see around themselves. They are doing this through illustrations, while also compiling a comic book of their own stories, as well as those of their friends and acquaintances.
