Popular culture and how it shaped American English | Offline Speaking Club with Michael

  • America House Lviv 2 Akademika Hnatyuka Street L'viv, L'vivs'ka oblast, 79000 Ukraine (map)

Pop culture, as we know it today, combines music, movies, TV shows, books, plays, sports, celebrities, cyberculture, and even specific brands or the food we eat.

Despite each country’s engaging in its own popular culture, the influence of American media products all over the world is undeniable. If American content is the most prevalent in our households, it’s no wonder it impacts several aspects of our lives, including how we speak. And the influence goes way back.

See you next Tuesday, February 21, at 5 PM to discuss it in our Speaking Club group!

Please note that attending this speaking club will be convenient for participants with elementary and intermediate levels of English
