At the end of May, Americans honor those who have given their lives in service to the United States. This day is called Memorial Day. 

Since 1868, Americans have been observing this day, which former president Jame R. Garfield remarked, "For the love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue." Join us to learn more about the similarities between the brave Ukrainians and Americans who ensure our safety every day by pledging their commitment to being in service to our countries.
