This week at America House Lviv, our intercultural communication series will explore communication styles. Communication, the sending, and receiving of messages, is an integral part of culture. Edward Hall, the noted interculturalist, has maintained that culture is communication. What he probably means is that since culture is such an important ingredient in all behavior, and so much of behavior is spent in one type of communicating or another, then it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other takes over. In any event, whether or not they are one and the same, culture and communication certainly go hand in hand. We hope you can join us!
